There’s a lot of talk about a certain upgraded mobile phone from a certain fruit-based manufacturer at the moment, so now doesn’t seem like a good time for rivals to be talking about developments in the same field.

This hasn’t stopped Samsung from announcing its new device, so we’ll do them a favour by giving out some details on the site.

The Omnia SGH-i900 might just be bold enough to take on Apple head-on, and is certainly feature packed with a large (albeit not as large) 3.2″ display at 400×240 resolution, but does offer haptic feedback so you’ll be getting some sort of tactile response when you operate the controls on-screen.
